The Winter session will be from January 15th through Feburary 6th (5 weeks).

  • Kids (6-10) - Tuesdays, 4:30pm for 1 hour

  • Teens (11-16) - Mondays and Wednesdays at TBD (likely 5:30pm) for 1 hour.

Kids - $105 for the Winter session

Teens - $165 for the Winter session

What is Crossfit for kids and Teens?

Trailhead CrossFit’s Kids (6-10), and Teens (11-16) are programs that utilize the CrossFit methodology prioritizing mechanics, consistency, and fun.  The focus of each class is on how well your child moves, not how much or how fast. Every class is loaded with age-appropriate excitement coupled with learning the basic functional movements. We want to see your kids grow in strength and skill as well as in confidence and character, and above all have fun.

Trailhead CrossFit’s core values are invariant of age, where we have a desire to establish healthy lifestyles with an emphasis towards family and outdoors!  Moreover, what Trailhead CrossFit can provide the kids is truly supplemental.  Whether the kids/teens are spending hours and miles on a bike, participating in team sports for hours during the week, or just lounging at home they do not need more of the same.  Rather, a program that focuses more on how to properly move your body, control your movements, and build fitness in the shorter duration time domains will not only enhance their in-season performance, but provide an increased durability and healthy habits throughout their lives.

Kids (6-10 years old)

For the child ages 6-10, the Trailhead Kids Program focuses on having fun, learning to move their bodies, and developing the love for a challenge. Kids learn proper mechanics and consistency in a safe, supportive, and structured environment. Whether your child is looking to cross-train for another sport or just starting their active journey, this program is for them!

Teens (11-16 years old)

The Teens programs are for the students looking to improve their sports performance or create a positive relationship with fitness and health. Students become fast, explosive, powerful, strong, and agile through a supportive and challenging environment. This program yields confidence and toughness that translates to the field, classroom, and life. By scaling speed, volume, load, and intensity, we make each session appropriate for the beginner through to the elite high school athlete.

Please note that it is not the age of your child that is the deciding factor for what class they attend. It is largely based upon individual skill, athleticism, and maturity and is ultimately decided upon by the head coach to ensure your child is getting the most out of the CrossFit experience.
